Yeah that sounds like a lot. Based on a 5 day work week thats 4 G's a day, every M-F. I was told Tige builds 4 boats a day, for an average of 18 a week. Is Nautique so much bigger that they can build say 8 a day? Figuring G's we half of all sales. Is Nautique on track to sell 2000 boats this year.

I really have no clue. I just know my dealer told me Tige builds 4 a day. To me thats alot considering these are human built plants not robot assembly lines like cars.

I think its the most refined, reliable setup on the market. The BU screens look cool but has its issues also. The new 210 and 230 will sell. Nautique sold almost a shade under a 1000 G boats in 2013. Once the G21 comes out it will sell great also. Tige would have the ultimate setup if you could transition from side to side like the Bu and the G boats. The only Bu that I have been on that actually surfed decent was a VLX. The mxz's are horrible and barely rideable. Every G23 I have been on surfed excellent. In stock form they rock.
Could not agree with you more... Please Please Tige do a gate setup... It's painful watching people switch brands.. My inlaws are the latest, they are going from a MC to a BU ( VLX) just because of Surf Gate.. With a family that surfs both sides. it can not be beat.... They loved my RZ2, but would not even look at Tige because there was no gate option. Food for thought.

The more people get out and ride the SG and NSS systems, get them dialed in and knock down all the myths of "No Push" the more people are going to want a gate setup for there next purchase... Gates are here to stay.

My local Nautique dealer has sold 17 G boats (15 G23s and 2 G25s) since January of this year, this includes 3 2014 boats that already showed up. My buddy owns a CC dealer in Indiana and he has sold 4 G23s this year. They are a pretty small dealer. Anyone can go down to the orlando plant and do a tour and do some simple math to figure out how many boats they are selling. I do know that CC is maxed out for making G boats though. I have heard this from 4 different dealers, and from CC themselves. My local Tige dealer has sold 5 Tiges from January till now.

quick transition technology is deffinatley the name of the game and will continue to grow with the manufactures. MC is so far behind everyone in the industry right they need to make a big step in the next year or so. They are loosing a lot of market share in my area to BU, Tige, and Nautique.

Every one of you who think that gates are the future are completely wrong. Gates are the present. The future is having both sides at the same time. "But we have people that surf both sides. Waaa." Shut up. Sac up and surf both sides. I've honestly kind of had it with you pansies that can't ride both sides. Take your skirt off and surf.

Alright, had to get that off my chest. If I offended you,... I don't really care.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

That would be cool if you could surf both sides of the boat at the same time....sounds cool.

I ride both sides, but I do have people that ride with us that can not yet, or prefer to ride there strong side. I dont get offended by internet tough guys, I laugh at them.

Haha, nope. I have been out watching the manliest of all motorsport though. Watched a guy evade certain death today only to end up with nothing more than a broken machine. It reality does something for one's perspective.

Its a great thing to learn to ride both sides, even our little Jesse can ride on both sides of the boat. And as goofy riders, its almost a necessity if you want to surf with other people on other boats.

The problem is that when some say, "Sac up and surf both sides" what they usually mean is, "shut up and surf the side I tell you to ride" since they can't or don't want to make a wake on the other side for them.

Wakesurfing is one of the funnest and most social water sports there is. When we choose to share wakesurfing with others we choose to do it in the most hospitable way possible. Hospitality means provide the best possible wake for the rider to have the most fun possible so they want to keep coming back for more. So we choose to provide a great wake on either side, shallow or steep whatever your poison. If that makes me a pansy, cool. Send all the other pansies over to my boat to surf, I'll pull em.

Here is a video of a Malibu 23 LSV that is not too shabby of a wave with surfgate. Of course, the kid looks like he weighs a buck soaking wet, but still, the wave is sizeable and with good length.

I have heard that the 23 LSV surfs pretty good. I have not surfed one of those yet. a 20 MXZ, 22 MXZ, and a 247 LSV (not weighted the best) but those didnt surf that great compared to my Tige RZR or the G23s that I have been on.

Ya, whatever pal. I wouldn't send anybody to you. Christ, you barely surf as it is. I don't like you or your ways. You can put your passive/aggressive BS on whatever you want. You're completely full of chit so far I'm concerned. F off.

Matt, you can kick me out if you need to. I totally understand. I've held my tongue longer than I care to for this windbag.

wow, thread moved quickly from a centurion bashing to a rob bashing..

This is the first year I've had goofy people on the boat. It has been a lot of fun to learn how to ride goofy. I suck at it, but still try and getting better each time I get behind the boat. as mentioned, surfing is a very social sport and it's a lot of fun to have people laughing at you as you try to do something that's not "natural" only because the next set will be me laughing at someone else trying to ride their "wrong" side.
what it's all about. good times, great people and having fun.
                              2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17
                              2014 Z3.. Surf away

What I dont like about the dash is no normal analog guages only the screen , Tige still has the best setup, as to selling im sure they will , but im more into the tottal package comfort level on the water which is seating Nautique doesnt have it very small in the bow and I dont like my knees bent up , drivability which includes on to plane, turning left and right and most of all for me is fuel consumption they dont compare!!!
