It doesn't matter how good of a surfer you are, beginner or pro, the better transition with the VX is a big benefit. There is more adjustability even on the regular side also. The difference in the shape/quality of the wave before and after VX is the largest on the RZR/R20.

Thanks Ragboy - I have been watching a ton of your videos over the last couple of months and you guys seriously have your stuff dialed in.

Dark colors haven't seemed to be a problem for me as long as you wipe the boat down every time you get off the water. The extra 10 minutes you spend cleaning saves a lot of headache down the road.

Since you are in Colorado definitely get the upgraded engine. The altitude here robs you of about 15% of your hp. Nick at WWS has installed my entire stereo system. So if you want to save some $ up front just get a basic stereo and have Nick do your stereo system later. Dark colors are a pita to keep up with but they are well worth it if you stay on top of the maintenance. In CO a heater is a must so definitely keep that option. I would also talk to Nick about having surf pockets put on your bimini. My BIGGEST complaint about Tige is the lack of additional board racks. Having surf pockets helps out with this issue a ton. I still think you should be able to get 4 racks but so far Tige hasn't made that an option.

Roger that. I'll check with Nick on the stereo. I think the setup we are looking to get has racks on both sides... will have to double check.

We will get you all dialed in!

Glad to see you on the forums and getting the opinion of other tige owners! Helps out a ton!

On a side note, I was out on my RZR this weekend, just touched 200 hours, and we had such a gnarly surf wake on both sides!!! I also got an awesome barefoot set in on this GLASS what last night at sunset! 1005478_10151931080356754_622036455_n.jpg

You will definitely get racks on both sides but it is amazing how fast your racks will fill up. That is if you have a family of 4 or take more than 4 people out and do more than just surf. My wife and I both have a wakeboard and a surfboard we use. So right there that would fill up all 4 spaces before we even bring any friends out. Most of my crew still wakeboards so we usually end up needing all 4 rack spots for wakeboards then the surfers go up in the surf pockets on the bimini.

We use our surf pockets in the bimini all the time and with the cool midwest summer the heater has been used more than I originally thought durring the season. The surf bimini has been a great option that we were in debate of since we hadn't surfed our own boat before. With just our family, we usually have 2 wakeboards, and 3 surf boards (2 surf, 1 skim). If we were to do it again, I would get racks set up for 2 wakeboards on each side as I don't like to put the nicer surf boards in the racks as they may dimple. The wakeboards and skims work nice in the side racks. If you can, get the VX right away. We had the old brackets, ran it without and then with the correct brackets and I couldnt be happier. Keep in mind that we have a Z1 and we are very new to surfing but really feel it makes a difference!

The guys at WWS are going to take care of you and steer you in the right direction. Definitely go with the 350hp engine. I doubt WWS would order an inventory boat with the 330hp so now when you go to resell, you are competing against boats that have a bigger engine and a buyer is probably going to choose that every time. My RZ2 is black/gray and I have had it for 6 years and absolutely love the colors. Just wipe it down when you pull it and you won't have any problems.

The surf pockets on the bimini are a very cool option. Easier to use then racks.

get the VX , keep the tower black (saves money) don't order flex gel coat, (saves lotsa money) no LED lites on the transom and tower, , get the fresh water flush kit, makes winterizing a lot easier... oops and if you can get your dealer to get you the samson board racks instead, a money saver over the tige ones, and they work good

WWS usually goes with the Samson racks, saves quite a bit of cash!

X2, plus the Sampson racks have a "grab handle" to unlock, makes them easier to swivel in vs. the Tige push button release. The Sampson racks also latch to the inside.

x3 Wish we had ordered ours with the Samson Racks as well. The Tige racks work but everybody on our boat has issues with the strap and it would be nice to lock to the inside for travel down highway.
