    listing/pulling right when on plane

My boat seems to have a bit of an un-natural list to the drivers side. Could this be caused by my rudder and is there a way to adjust it?

Basically when on plane it seems like there is always a list to the drivers side even if the boat is evenly weighted or even if there is a little extra weight on the passenger side. It also always pulls pretty hard to the right and I have to hold the steering wheel to make it go in a straight line. It requires significantly more force on the steering wheel when turning left as opposed to turning right while on plane. Off plane everything moves freely and feels normal. Any ideas?

You might have a bent tracking fin, when you look down the keel does everything look straight?

Could be two things... the propwash may give you a slight pull to the right (I think) if not holding on to the steering wheel tight.. but if you're having difficulty turing the wheels itself then your cable needs replacement unfortunately.. Plan for about 1-4 hours depending on your expertise.. and about 120-160 for the Teleflex cable on Amazon... Lots of good stickys on here for changing the cable... good luck brother.. or sister...

sorry.. misread that it turns fine when off plane.. so just sitting there it is just as easy to turn the wheel both ways? you should be able to use one finger and move it easily if the cable is properly greased up..

Yeah it turns easily both ways when just sitting there. Last time I looked it seemed like the fins and rudder all looked to be inline but I will try to take a closer look. Boat is an 03 22V.

I had a mechanic ask me if I had that problem on my 2000 2300V. Mine seems to be fine but he has seen that issue with Tige boats in the 2000-2003 range. He found that on his, the rudder was thinner or sharper on one edge. So he sanded down the left side of the rudder a little bit and the boat quit pulling to the right. Not sure that is your issue but just an idea of somehting that might work.
