No transom surf light, aftermarket?

I did not get a transom light for surfing and I kinda want one (its always something).

Do the screw in plug lights work? Other options that dont require a lot of stress/money?

Put it this way. You get what you pay for. I was just out with a customer who wanted transom lights but wanted to go the economical route. He now has a bunch of lights on the transom of his boat he can barely see. While the look neat when the boat is stationary, they are extremely lack luster for his desired purpose. Which is to surf a little later into the evening. Consider Life Form, Lumitec (Which is Tigés OEM transom light), or OCEAN LED's. He will be taking the ones he had installed out at some point and replacing them.

The Lumitec Seablaze is a great light. its well built and the 8 LED puts out good light. If you want a top-shelf light, look into the Shadow Caster. Available in many colors, as well as a color changing model, and 3 sizes.
