I put the 08 RZ2 up for sale.
I have a few people interested, but if you know someone that is looking for a immaculate 08 RZ2 send them my way.
So if I am going to do it, now is the time to order a 2014 due to the early ordering incentive (or at least that is what I am told by my dealer).
I rode in and behind a 2014 Z1. I liked it but it seems a lot smaller than our RZ2. So that is why I am leaning towards a Z3. One foot longer of a boat is better than 6 inches shorter.
All we do is surf, pull the kids on a tube with and an occasional slalom ski run when it is glass. With that said I want a huge, clean, competition size wave on both sides of the boat. Every weekend I am teaching 2 to 3 people how to surf so flexibility is key. My dealer and I will be holding some surf camps the next couple summers so that is why I am looking for a big, clean wave with lots of push.
I know the VX likes weight, so my questions to all of you owners -
1. Has anyone ordered the pro ballast system w/o the rear sacs? Seeing I am going to replace them with bigger ones it seems like a waste of money to throw the unused sacs in my basement.
2. I would like to have the Ragboy ballast system is that an option from Tige?
3. Is it possible to get the sac to sac fill option to reduce transfer time or do I have to install myself? I am getting lazy, I prefer turn key.
4. Should I even order a 2014 (seems like a down year for innovation) does anyone know if there is some new wiz bang, go go gadget that Tige is introducing for 2015 that I should wait for (i.e. modulating/dynamic VX, quick fill ballast system, etc...)
5. I guess I could just have my dealer ask Tige all of this...
Thank you for your input.
