If you replace your Teak with a Fiberglass you WILL need to raise it up a few inches if you are used to a decent surf wave. I had an 05 with a fiberglass platform and once weighted it would cut the top of the wave off. I custom made new mounting brackets and raised the platform up 8" (it probably only needed 5" of lift).

I have a 2013 Factory fiberglass swimplatform sitting in my garage. White in color with grey and black Tige SeaDek pad.
