Finally got my new surfboard!

Boardman, I am kinda feeling the same, however my boat does not have a tower. I know I won't get the money back out! But i would possibly use it more if I had it set up for surfing. I really appreciate your input.

Tough call. If all you're looking to do is surf, a V-drive is still the way to go. In fact, for most things, its the way to go. Obviously the 22i is a unique boat and if you want to set it up for surfing, its not that hard. It can be done and done well. It's up to you if you want to go through your boat or go through a different boat. You'll likely have to do all the same stuff so, thete are just a few key factors you and only can decide.

If I wasn't very attached to the D-Drive, I'd sell it in a heart beat and move on. I think we know how that worked out for me.
