    Used boat source

I've got a friend who is wanting to buy a used Tige. His family likes to wakeboard and I am thinking a Switch V would be a good start given his budget etc. He has found a used Switch I that I am advising him against for wakeboarding. What are the good websites for used skiboats now?

Just wondering why you would advise against the Switch I for wakeboarding. If your friend is on a budget or not I'd still look at the Switch I. I have one and the wake is actually quite large with the TAPS plate. I'd agree that the V will probably have a better wakeboard wake but unless you are really good I doubt you'll notice a big difference. I know I don't but I'm also not that good. It does have a great slalom wake.

        Sort of a local website.

        www.Boatcrazy.com

I haven't searched for Tiges on there though.

        Good Luck

Oh, sorry. I'll try again. I know that there are some websites that list used boats for sale. What I don't remember is the name of any of those sites. Other members here have now answered the question.

I'm sure the Switch I makes a good wakeboard wake, however . . . I suspect the Switch V makes a better wake. This guy wants a Tige boat and his family wants to wakeboard. So it makes sense that if he is going to buy a Tige, it might as well be one of the wakeboard models instead of buying something that would be not quite as good as a true wakeboard model. Granted the Switch I would be better than his current Bayliner I/O but I would just hate to see him settle for something less than a true wakeboard boat.

Rather than going to a website, why not try the local dealer 1st. I know that our local dealer here in Austin TX usually has a decent selection of used boats in a variety of price ranges. They will usually have these boats checked out and ready to go. You're going to want to have the boat checked out by a reputable mechanic anyway, so why not start at the source.
