Contact for someone at Tige corporate ?

    Hey guys,

I have some serious problems with my new Z3 and would like to talk with someone at Tige corporate or someone with some stroke at Tige.

My holiday is starting next Friday and sounds like my boat will not be ready in time. (The dealer has been AWESOME with trying to get it rectified but PCM has been dragging there feet etc...)

There is a long story about all this that I would rather not publish until I can see how Tige wants to deal with it.

I live up in Canada and our season is super short and if I don't have a boat for our holiday I will make a thread with the whole story.

Thanks and sorry for being vague.

    Travis.

Isn't Harvey still the corporate 'fix it' guy?

Matt has a sweet form on here to contact tige where you can input your hull id and they can look up your boat along with your question. I used it twice with my hull number and got a reply back pretty quickly. Harvey I believe was who responded to my questions.

That's too bad to hear. I hope they take care of you and get things sorted before your holiday. I also hope this isn't a result of Tige leaving PCM. I would hope PCM would stick by their product no matter what.

Everyone please understand that I am not bad mouthing Tige in anyway at this time.

The dealers that have been helping with my problems have been great at taking care of this but it is out of there hands at the moment and it wouldn't be a huge deal but we have a very short summer season up here and I just want to get out on my boat.

I absolutely love the boat when it ran and would buy another one tomorrow as long as they take care of this appropriately.

                  Travis.

                    Travis,

Your dealer has a Tige Sales Rep. Just ask them for that persons name and contact info. If they are truly doing all they can, then they will gladly provide that info. In fact, they should have already been in contact with their rep....as thats his job to assist his/her dealers

                      p. 325.676.7777 That number is directly off the Tige website. I have used it to contact Harvey about a wiring diagram I was looking for.

I would go the method that chpthril mentioned. If that doesnt work Harvey Smith at Tigé is a good person to talk to.

Not that this is the right thread...now that Travis has his answer it might be reasonable to ask:

Doesn't it at some point hurt the brand for Tige to have a new engine manufacaturer every 3 years?

I will be waiting for those threads to pop up that have to do with the way Tige touch interfaces with the new Indmar engines, you know it will happen. Or some other glitch that occurs because of the new engine.

If Malibu goes to Indmar and raises a concern, they will listen, they have been together for a long time. PCM now starts ignoring Tige because they don't have a relationship anymore.

I really like my PCM engine for DIY servicing. The oil filter, impeller and fuel filter are very easy to reach and service in my boat. And PCM was reasonable when WABoating was dealing with his issues, but they were the factory supplier then. I hope that PCM continues to give proper service to us.

BTW, didn't Bu switch to MP engines this year too?

Indmar was dumped by MC after 20 years or more and they still took care of any issues with those engines , so I dont think it will be any different.
