    15 Seconds of RJ's 18th Birthday...

Every year for the last 6 or 7 years RJ just wants to spend his birthday on the lake, riding his brains out, and we let him do whatever he wants. I am going to make a few minute video and post some pictures but I have been playing around with instagram video and this is by far my favorite one. Maybe cuz its my boy, or the song is bangin', not sure, but I thought I would share.

Congrats. My son is 2 and I hope we can spend as much time together as you and RJ on the boat. A guy can always hope his son becomes a wake surfing or wake boarding champ!

RJ isn't really a pro, just loves to wakesurf. He works too hard on all the other stuff we do, and at the events to be a competitive pro, but he is happy with that, and I love to watch him surf.

If you really want to get your kid going, when the time comes, take him to a competition like the ones we are doing at the Endless Wave Tour. Most of the reason we started doing this as a family was to stoke our kids, and then yours, to wakesurf behind their boat with their family. Nothing stokes them more than these comps, IMHO.

Mine is 4, but I couldn't agree more. Nothing better than family time. 18 seems like a good ways off, but i'm guessing it will be here tomorrow!!

                    Happy Birthday RJ.

I most certainly will. Step #1 is getting a Tige in the driveway. Next year he'll be 3 and we can get him going a bit. This year he loved being on the boat, on the water, and took a tube ride. By next year maybe one of those little assisted waterski jobbies, and a surf on the board with dad.

Unfortunately the tour cancelled their Calgary stop this year, so we missed out. The other event was suspended due to bad weather. Better luck next year I hope.

We are working on getting that Calgary stop back up, I know there are a lot of folks in Canada that want to see the EWT head up there.
