The rubber stall mat was bought at Farm and Fleet, but i'm sure there are a lot of places that sell those. I bought the aluminum u-channel either through McMaster Carr or Amazon and just had a local welding shop weld on the ends. Some bolts from the local hardware store and I had it done in an evening.

Does it interfere with the TAPS plate going up or down or hit the rudder when drawing water from reverse?Nick

The surf flap does not touch the taps plate, it might in reverse but I never adjust taps while reversing. And its not long enough to hit the rudder and have not noticed any effects while reversing.Comment
