Sweet, already asked and they said they will do it. I think that is an awesome idea to have the build process in pics.

Here's the build we are going with:

      Congrats on your decision!

I think if building new, I wouldn't do the green and black. How many of those are out there? It was super cool at first, but starting to get overdone, sort of like a bicep tribal tattoo.
      Be excellent to one another.

We have friends at the lake with the same color scheme. They get compliments all the time. Everyone likes the Lime Green/ Black combo. Make sure you post up the pics.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

That color scheme looks strangely familiar. Have to go with what you like the best. There are tons of people that love and compliment the combo. Metal flake in the green would be off the charts.
          GO BIG!!

We tried many different color schemes and kept coming back to the black and green. After days of trying different schemes there wasn't a build that we liked better. I'll be sure to post pics. Looks like we may not get it until the end of next month (bummer), due to the arrival time at the dealer and us being unable to pick it up until the end of the month.

Which motor option did you choose?

415hp 6.0L, thought it would be the best choice especially if the boat is close to fully loaded.

ya I agree I would atleast get that option. Im always amazed at people that use the 343 in the Z3s and are happy with it. I went in a Z1 with a 343 and it was one of the most underpowered boats I have been on. I guess people get what they can afford.

Not sure what Z1 you rode in or what prop it had, but our Z1 with more than a 343 would be waste of money. If your boat needs a 550 hp big block i would say it also needs a 100 gal gas tank and a fuel dock close by. If someone is happy with their boat then they are happy, that is what is important.

We demoed a 2012 Z3 with the 343 and it seemed to have enough power, but it was only with 3 in the boat. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't regret having the standard engine down the road. Now I hope I don't regret having the 415hp...

I think if all you are doing is surfing, the 343 is fine but if you want to load up some ballast and wakeboard, you will be hatin life! I drove a Z3 with a 343 for a surf clinic last year (at 5200' here) and never once did I think it needed more power and we had 10 people on the boat. Not sure what prop it had though.

The Z1 we went out on had all sorts of problems so there was no telling what was up with it. Our RZR with the 343 did just fine.
