22v vs 22ve what's the difference ?

Can you help me understand the difference between the two?

The main thing that changed with the hull/deck is that the v has the sloped transom. It makes it harder to get in and out of the boat and you cant really sit on the sun deck to put a board on because of the angle. This is the main thing they fixed with the ve's modified transom that also has some storage bins integrated into it. I am sure there are some other differences like towers and fit/finish items but those are more based on the model year differences.

different interior space: bow space is different, windshiled location is slighly differnt giving the Ve slightly more main cabin area and the rear v-drive lockers are smaller on the Ve.

Activity center and seating and walk-thru transom on the Ve

Marine Power engine with throttle by wire and Tige Cruise where as the V had cable driven throttle and perfect Pass

I have surfed both extensively. Their hulls are very similar below the water line, but Tige did make a change in the degree of rocker, when they released it as the Ve. Both respond about the same to weight, speed and TAPS input. I would not let the V or Ve be a factor in choosing one or the other for surfing. I would go with the one that was overall a better boat and deal.
