    Custom Bimini Top???

One of my winter projects this year will be a new Bimini Top for my 06 22Ve. I have started my research and was wondering if anyone could put me on the right trail for a bimini like the one on the mastercraft. I really like the extension part and think something like this would be great on our boat.bimini.jpg

Ok without hijacking the thread, here goes: when buying a new boat through the winter I eventually narrowed it down to either the MC X25 or the Z1. I bounced around between the two quite a bit until I knocked my head on their tower for a second time getting into the boat. The tower on the X25 extends quite far back over the rear bench seat with the result that anyone taller than an Oompa-loompa has to bend over backwards to climb down from the sun deck into the boat.

With two small kids on the boat we also would love more shade but I merely wanted provoke some thought as to the headroom/clearance potential issue. I shall in future refrain from being vague, my sincerest apologies.

I agree with you. I'm 6'2 and in some boats I'm constantly bending over avoiding the "thump" of the head. I think you offer some valuable insight. My boat shopping experience has added a new "must have" to the list.
