My thought is, can we get this "Magic Button" added to previous years with TT? Please say yes Tige, please say yes!
We have only had our boat for 5-6 weeks and I have thought the way the acc/switch is set up is a PITA since day 1. On our old IO, I had my stereo guy run everythign through a master switch to allow the stereo to stay on...other than PP, that was the best upgrade on that boat and a similar feature would be a much appreciated add to our new boat!

while installing my stereo this past winter, I wired the audio directly thru a switch independent of TT. had to add another wired remote at the helm, but it's nice to click the audio on and have it run nonstop no matter what you are doing. no more hearing it switch off when you turn to boat off to swap riders..
switch isn't pushed in yet, but you get the idea. TT control still works fine when boat is running.

The new interior looks much better than the weird, stupid looking V's they had previously throughout that only make some sense if you were looking at a birds eye view of the interior.

Tige has always shown pics here first. Going back to my FAE rant; someone is failing over at corporate. I hope they are working hard to pull their proverbial head out.

I sat with my feet on the transom yesterday for 7 hours throughout the day teaching surf lessons yesterday. Did not experience any symptoms of CO poisoning with my new z3 6.0l. Not really sold on an FAE especially with the convex vx. I believe it is a good aftermarket option for those that feel it is important. With out having a monitor at hand to provide real numbers I cant prove or disprove my findings however I had no issues yesterday. On our old 24V idling and in the same position I may have come to a different conclusion. Surfing never a problem though.

Does your PCM engine have the cat?

Yes it does. All the 6.0l for 2013 PCM equipped have the Cat as far as I understand. I believe it is a requirement by law now up here.

Wonder if the attorney's got involved.... if we put a FAE on we admit the old boats put out dangerous levels of CO and it could look bad in CO lawsuits.

I love my FAE. I would put it on even if I had a Cat. I love how quiet the boat is for teaching and just hanging out in general (this coming from someone with an aftermarket header and exhaust system on his tow vehicle).

That being said, I also think for wakesurfing if you add FAE you should do the next step of adding a wave flap. Its easy, I personally don't think it looks bad, and it makes the wave cleaner. It also let me run a much wider range of taps.

Ever check CO levels of a PCM cat engine at idle from the corner position of the rear bench?

FYI - Tige is out at Possum Kingdom doing their 2014 photoshoot. I'm guessing that they didn't have professional pictures yet and that is why they haven't posted them.
