I would prefer the entire TT system turn on/off with an independent push button switch (w/ indicator light).

    my two cents....

I agree with Wicked with relation to the "factory look". My $.02 is that we would like to have TT power up as well since most of the time we turn on the tunes and go for a swim/float while the ballast fills (motor not running).

Chp - thanks for asking the questions, it sounds like you might hook us up with something simple. Really appreciate it

If you pull the accessory wires off the key and put it on the button, do you have to fuse protect the B+ coming off the button?

You need to fuse the B+ that will be supplying the button.

How many amps would be running through that button? Is it the full amps that any accessory draws that is going through the button or does the button just power a series of relays that bear the load of the particular accessory?

I will buy one of these from you Mike for my 2012 Z3 once you have the package together.

Takes less than an amp to simply trigger head-units turn-on circuit, but I do not know at this point, how much current draw the TT is. So, I need to get an idea of that first. Next, I need to source a switch that looks good and functions good. Once the switch is sourced, I can then determine if its capable of handling the current draw, or will we need to go with a replay to carry the load.
