2014 prices

I'm wandering if anyone has ordered a new boat I looked at a malibu lsv last week and the dealer told me that the 2014 lsv went up 5000.00 that seems high for a one year price increase. I know tige switched to indmar engines and I'm wandering if tige prices went down or up because of the engine switch. And is there anything new to the z3 next year

I have well in the process of it and haven't noticed any major jumps or changes on the build form. I also haven't heard of any big changes to the Z3 in particular but a few other big things will be coming. There is however a few new options but nothing major to note on the build form.

The reason the LSV went up so much in price is because it is a redesign. They redid the top deck while mostly leaving the hull alone. Costs a lot of money to make a new mold. I have been told they spent at least 2 million on molds to get the new top deck done.

As for Tige I would expect the traditional 3-5% standard increase in prices over the previous years. They do have a new model coming out as well that won't replace the RZ2 but will be in addition to it.

I priced a 2014 G23 and the price didnt seem any different then last year.

When we talked to the dealer about ordering our 2014 he told me 1-2% was the increase. One of the reasons we decided to go with a new boat instead ordering a VX for our current boat. Prices should be pretty close and dropping the flex gel pays for the VX!!(they are really close to the same price on the option sheet!)

$120k range with 450 motor and a decked out phoneix trailer.

1-2% would be much preferred over 3-5%. Just seems like it has been at least 3% a year like clockwork.

This magic boat is real. I hope they do not rush it to market. Get all the bugs worked out and meets everyones expectations. I hate when manufacturers use the Polaris Industries approach to product development. Take a great idea, fab it up quick and send it out to market and let the customers feel the pain with stuff that does not work. Much prefer the Honda/Yamaha approach to product development. Test it for a long time before it is released to make sure there is no surprises...
