    Cool News for FAE

    http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/sh...signed-exhaust

Fresh Air Exhaust is pleased to announce that Correct Craft Ski Boats (Nautique) has included the Fresh Air Exhaust designed system on their 2014 G23 and G25 boats. Pleasure Craft Marine evaluated the Fresh Air Exhaust design and approved them for use on their engines, including the 550 hp supercharged engine. Since this engine does not have a catalytic converter, it produces lethal levels of Carbon Monoxide; thus the need for a Fresh Air Exhaust. In addition, customers were complaining about how loud it was behind the G23 and G25; but with the Fresh Air Exhaust designed exhaust system they are one of the quietest boats available. The Nautique Surf System with the Fresh Air Exhaust designed exhaust results in one of the best surf edition boats available.

If your Nautique G23 or G25 did not come equipped with the exhaust, we now sell an aftermarket Fresh Air Exhaust for your boat.

"The opening was much narrower than I have seen on the FAE and was scalloped a bit." A comment from the linked thread.

I wonder if this is designed to minimize rooster tail?

I doubt it, I thought FAE actually made a rooster tail that usually got knocked down with the swim platform.

Ok, just re-read your post Duncan, your saying the new scallop might minimize the rooster tail from a standard FAE.

Good for Larry. Good for Nautique. I'm really starting to like the decisions Nautique is making. The NSS looks like the new system I would want over the rest. The narrow platform has always been a Nautique staple. Now they have FAEs. What's next? Are they going to sign Jame Walker? I'm kind of having my doubts about Tige now. I don't really like where they are headed. Lord knows the amount of FAE'd Tiges running around should have been a f'n giant clue that people actually like them. It's not like its a secret. It's just another boat Tige has missed. WTF is going on over there. I'm honestly kind of fed up with hoping they'll come out with something really cool. That VX may work with a comp boat but, how many new boat owners drive contests. Honesty, they are starting to become MasterCraft-esq. Great pro-level boats that forgot about the everyday world. I've seen a lot of people out surfing their new Nautiques the last couple of weeks. Not one Tige.

            Rant over.

Maybe now they'll go back and fix their new website so you can actually place orders without the design/scripting errors.

Wow that was quite a rant Nickypoo. I have not had time lately to check out what is happening on TO or contribute anything because I have been busy at my dealership delivering dozens and dozens of 2013 Tiges to new owners that are really stoked to be joining the Tige family. We happen to like where Tige is headed, and after 13 seasons of representing the brand, it has become exponentially easier to assist potential boat buyers as they make the decision as to what boat brand is worthy of spending their hard earned dollars upon. You may notice in the photos below the number of smiling faces of folks that have just driven and/or ridden behind their new Tiges in recent weeks. The sad faces we see on our lake are those that despite spending good money on other brands of boats, are still holding onto the line as they ride by on their wakesurf board. If you need a fix on seeing plenty of Tige's on the water with their owners happily riding wireless, come visit us here in Western Canada. What you won't see are many Nautiques.......

Okay, I know everyone else just can't get enough of these stunning new Tiges. Nice work Team Tige (even if some computer geek somewhere does not have the website running perfectly). Everyone else can just head on over to uglynautiqueplanet.com

I have owned an older Tige boat where I purchased a FAE. However, with newer Tige boats, FAE is no longer needed. Not sure why your rant on FAE being part of the Tige line. As for the NSS on Nautique, although may be a cool concept, the boat STILL needs a whole lot of ballast. Do I need to say way more expensive than Tige!

I wonder why Nautique chose to put the non-cat version of the 555 in their boats? I personally would rather have the version with the cat.

I personally think the reason being is the G-series NEEDS a FAE. A friend of mine demoed one this pass week and he said he nearly passed out from the fumes. I have never had a problem with fumes on my Z3. I was concerned on my RZR so I ordered the first ever FAE for an RZR and it was a POS. Did not install well and then fell off twice while underway. The guy I sold the boat to took it off after it fell off. I sure hope it is engineered better than mine was.

Take it easy guys. It's just a rant. I still have a Tige sticker on my truck. The reason we don't see any Tiges around here is that we have no dealership. I've been in Tahoe the last two weekends and there are more MCs, Nautiques and 'Boos than you can shake a stick at. I've been riding around in one of the very few Tiges on that lake.
