    Replacement Tower Pics?

I am looking at picking up a 1999 21v this weekend and in the forums everyone has said to replace the original tower that is on the boat. Does anyone have pics of a 1999 or close to it that they have replaced the tower. And is their any towers out there that i am able to use the existing holes already, wasn't sure if everyone that has had this issues goes with one particular tower because it works well when replacing. I searched google images and didn't really find anything. Thanks in advance for your replies.IMG_0083.JPG

Look in my gallery for pics of my tower. It's out of production but, its something to look at. I spent Samson Razor type money on it and would again in a heartbeat, only I would spend it on a Samson Razor.

You should be able to re-use the front holes. The back holes are a different story. The gunwhale is really thin and not flat. For that reason, my rear legs are side mount. Not what I wanted but, I really think it helps with the lateral stability. I put some pop up cleats in the old holes. They fit perfect. The tower and the cleats are still one some of the best money I've spent on the boat.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

This is my 2001, the tower is made by Phat Tower in Socal and all tiges from Corona watersports came with them. They are out of business now. I heard that Samson makes a tower thats very similar.

Samson Sports makes the best after market towers on the market. Don't get one of those one size fits all towers that creaks and groans. Get a tower made specifically to fit your boat. Samson is a great company, I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. From board racks to towers, everything they do is top notch.

This is the only thing anybody ever says about Samson. I've never heard one bad thing. Every Samson I've seen in person has passed the Nickypoo test with flying colors. Like I said before, I would drop the coin on one in a heartbeat.

For what it's worth: I love my Samson tower on our boat. I put a cheap eBay tower on my last inboard, NOT WORTH IT! It was noisy, flexed alot and tube thickness wasn't good at all. After riding behind the Samson tower, I should have saved up and spent my money on it. Build quality, and appearance is great, not to mention collapsing the tower can be done with one person instead of two. Mine has the integrated, rotating board racks which is also a great thing to have.
