We use our own custom sacs, bigger than the wakemakers ones, and better fit. Fill front pro full, surf rear full and surf opposite to 10 degrees or so, and goofy you have less in opposite, needs like 12-13 to clean up. That is for 15+ feet of depth. We also have a custom taps plate that helps keep goofy clean and allow wake to adjust down a bit more.

I would definitly go with the vx on the rz2. It is tons of fun.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

The biggest question I have now is this: did Tige knowingly install the 2013 production brackets at what they thought was the correct angle? Thereafter people complained about the performance and finally Ragboy stepped in as a substitute R&D team to finally determined a way to mod the system until it worked? If so, that is a HUGE blunder on Tige's part, and says a lot about the current way the company is being operated. From a consumer standpoint it appears they rushed to get a surf system out leaving quality control as a secondary effort. I don't mean to get controversial here but this is a big deal for Tige.
The only other possibility is that it was a slight manufacturing error that had simply gone unseen. This seems unlikely as it spans across all models and sounds as if the VX AND the brackets need to be modded.
What a clusterfuk, either way.

Yes it sucks, but it is being taken care of. WE really cant complain cause it does not cause down time and easy to take the vx off until it is fixed. The boat with out the vx is still a great wake that other companies just cant replicate. Teh vx just makes it even better.
I believe they are going through some growing pains right now because there building more boats than they ever have before. I believe production has almost tripled at one point. It is not an excuse for mistakes but it is something that is a factor. We buy a boat and want it within a good time frame. They do there best to meet that time frame. All while still trying to give us the stuff we want and investing in RnD to keep up with all the changes in the market place right now. I do find it amusing though, there are so many new technologies coming to the table with surf gate, nss, Cats, etc. Yes they may help with wake but deep down they are just there to keep up to a boat that already makes a great wake with just some fat sacs. Just people like the new gadgets and get caught up with them. They are just a want, not a need.
So yes there was a screw up at the machine shop but it is being handled, and will be all good going forward.

I like the Z3 better because it is deeper, drier and more room. The RZ2 has less room, pretty easy to swamp the bow. Just have to find out what fits your fancy better.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

After driving my RZ2 and the Z3 competition boat from the EWT's back to back on Saturday, I will still take an RZ2 for overall driving/riding. The Z3 has an awesome wave but dang does it drive big. I would love to see a comparison on the turning radius of the Z3 vs RZ2, it's a lot different! Once you pick up a fallen rider a few times, you get used to it but going from the RZ2 and straight into the Z3 is rough! LOL!
