solutions to R20's major blind spots? (caused by location of board racks)

I have a new R20 with the stock tower and I live on a small lake.
When I have boards of any kind in the board racks they create huge blind spots that i have to lean almost over the windshield to see around.

This has become an increasingly hot issue with people who drive the boat now that we had our first death in over 40 years due to a boating accident in our county and it was on our lake.

    1. Has anyone else noticed this issue? my dealer has admitted to it on their demo boat, but has no solution.
    2. If you have, were you able to find or create a solution?
    3. Does anyone know who builds the tower? I ask because the Moomba board racks look about the same from a mounting perspective and they offer a spinner option on theirs which also locates the racks a little farther back thus solving my blind spot issue.

If you live on the lake why not just leave the boards on shore. We have a cabin on a medium to large lake and very rarely have boards in the rack. We start from the dock and make a back and forth pass and drop the rider back at the dock. Any board rack is going to create a blind spot when in use. Boards are big and going to take way alot of your side vision.

We all stay on the lake during the ride and live at different houses.
That would be a major issue and time waster in our case.

I've never noticed a blind spot on mine, but I probably will now that you mentioned it!

It seems like most boats are filled with blind spots like mirrors, racks, accessories and of course bow rise. I know what your talking about, but don't have a real solution other than always keeping a keen sense of situational awareness.
