Noticed a crack in the tower a few weeks ago... dove off the swim deck and heard a loud pop, surfaced in the water to see the swim deck floating freely last weekend...

The exact same thing happened to my previous boat(2011 RZR)somebody dove off and the platform went with him.

Wow! Both sides broke? I'm not familiar with what that bracket looks like normally. That sucks man, sorry to hear about this.

I always assumed it was around 800 pounds. Again, thats just my assumption, I have no evidence backing that up.

I just had the brackets on my swim platform replaced. Mine was just coming loose nothing nearly as severe as what happened to yours!

Sorry to hear this.. I have herd the the swim brackets do this A LOT.. Two sets broke on mine (once in the water with two women standing on it.. the other when a friend was standing on the deck while on the trailer.. He fell with it to the pavement.. I decided to pay the price and buy the nice new billet aluminum brackets and drill new holes.. They are a lot nicer when putting the swim deck on and off.

Thats crazy about the tower I've seen that on this forum a few times.. Really hope I don't have this issue with mine.

I noticed I have the same crack on my tower. I think Tige needs to address this as it is clear this is not an isolated issue. This appears to be a design defect. Last I heard this was about $800+ per side. They are all cracking in the same spot. Tige what do you plan to do on this?
