Wann-Be 22V

Hello,

I have done my research and have settled on a 2003-2007 Tige 22v/23V. Most of our time is spent wakesurfing and we have both goofy and regular riders.

Now the hard part has begun...trying to find one to buy. In my searching so far, I have found that most of the advertised boats are sold. The sellers like to leave the advertisement online, then try to switch you to another boat they have.

I was wondering if anyone had advice in finding a used boat. I would like to be an owner instead of a "wanna-be" owner.

I have been on Boat Trader and Craig's List with no success. I am in North Idaho (Coeur dAlene) but and willing to travel to get a good boat.

Also, are there any 22v/23v owners that are willing to share what they paid for their used 2003-2007 boat?

Look on onlyinboards.com they usually have a decent selection. Just for your reference i just sold my 05 22v with 500hrs for 32k.

The 22V has one of the best surf wakes around if you are willing to put the work into it. Look up Topaz Surfer's boat. I think he paid 18k. He also put a ton of work into it but, the results are nothing short of kickass.

The TAPS-2 "V" and "Ve" hulls produce an awesome surf wake.

I know of an 05 22V that is probably up for sale. Solid boat with new vinyl.

I would like details on the 05 if you have them. Is there a difference in taps and taps2?

I purchased a 2006 24V in March of this year and paid 35,000.00. It was nicely loaded and we use it mainly for surfing.

I recently found a 2006 24ve on craigslist out of state. In case you didn't know, you can search all craigslist sites by entering the following into a google search:

site:craigslist.org "tige 22v"

Some of the postings seem to be delayed, but it is easier than going to each city's craigslist site.

I purchased this boat (http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...24Ve-101805740) from the owner who had it on consignment with the dealer but decided to sell it privately. I originally saw it on boattrader and contacted the owner when he posted it on craigslist. I paid for $38k and the boat is truly like new with 100hrs. This was over a month ago. Not sure why the boattrader ad is still live...

Hello CDAWaves. Hopefully you find what your are looking for soon. My boat is outside of your age range but we bought a 2000 2300V Limited last September. Had an upgraded tower with only 240 hours on it, Black Scorpion motor (5.7L EFI MPI) with the added Fresh water cooling kit. We are the third owners. The boat NADA out at $30,000 we paid less then that. Not sure if that helps or not.
