    Fuel Sender

Does anybody know the part number for a fuel sender on a 03 22V? I am pretty sure mine is bad and I would like to have a new part on hand before taking the seat and floor out to get to it just so I can put it in at the same time and not have to do it twice.

i replaced the one in my tank with this one

It works a lot better than the stock sending unit. (Reads a compleat range from e to f instead of ever 1/4 tank)

Thanks guys for the info. Seems like there is still a bit of variability on what is used for replacements so pulling it apart first and seeing exactly what I have before dropping $50 to $70 on a new sender seems like the best plan even if it is a little more work. Might as well give the calibration a try like posted in the thread above as well while I am in there.

Somewhat hijacking my own thread but has anyone gone with a fuel flow meter in the recent past? I found a bunch of threads on them but they all seemed to be several years old and a lot of the products used where not available anymore. The few flow meters I have found say limit of 300 hp which it sounds like I could probably ignore but the bigger issue is that they all say no fuel return system which I know my MP 6L has. Just wondering if there is anything out there that could work on my boat.
