Congrats! Does that have a Washington hull number? If so, where about are you?

Thank you all, I love the boat! However, I spent all day working on it, oil change, new impeller, new fuel separator, pumped all the old fuel out of the tank and put fresh gas in! When I fired it up it ran smooth, I watched the temp gauge and it would go from 160 back to 0 sit there then start climbing back up slowly then back down. Then I noticed a small amount of water coming out of the lower side of the water pump and shut it down. I'm hoping it's not the water pump, i put the new impeller in the correct way but could it anything with that. What is everyone's thoughts I would appreciate it.

Thats what I like to hear you took all the steps to ensure a good start to the summer by changing out everything and not trusting the previous owner! Ive seen it way too many times that the previous owner claims to have done it and they didnt. Unfortunately once the water pump starts to drip out of the weep hole it typically is done for. But if its just a few drips and you dont have the time to fix it run it that way. Its not really going to hurt the cooling until it becomes a stream. Just listen to make sure the bearings dont start having issues, which they shouldn't with just a drip. But if you have time to fix it, its a pretty quick fix ~$60-120 doing it yourself and will ensure a great season.

Replaced the water pump today, no more water leaking out but the temp gauge is still climbing then dropping all the way down! Not as drastic as before the new water pump, possibly the thermostat now?

Good, one less thing to worry about. That sounds like the thermostat far as the drastic fluctuation in temp.

Are you a wakeboarder, surfer, or skier?

One other thing to watch for on your Extreme trailer, if the leaf springs are the mono springs, Ive had one break about 2 weekends ago and a few others have as well. Course I have a utility trailer with mono springs and I have beat that trailer to death with loads and never had an issue. Just something to watch for.

Bought the thermostat today haven't installed it, but had to spend some time bleeding the surge brakes on the trailer.

I like to ski, so I will be mainly using it for that reason, I am hoping to have it out in the water by tomorrow. So excited!
