I had some issues with my boat the first year I owned it, not a list like that though, just general fit and finish I attribute to these boats being hand built. My dealer was very prompt to fix everything, keep me happy and never let me miss a weekend of boating. I guess that is why they had awards hanging on their wall for customer service.

[QUOTE=rensink;723617]Why hasn't the dealer addressed the situation? I feel like they should be the ones arguing to get it taken care of not you?
They say they have to the best of their abilities.
I personally, just feel taken.
I noticed that there is a guy on wakeworld complaining about going through similar BS with Tige'.
Part of the problem is probably the dealer, but I'm between a rock and a hard place now.
the boat is in storage and supposedly both Tige' and boatmate have denied the claims.
This being said, I have not heard back from either company as to why the claim was denied other than it was my fault from the dealer.
I have owned a boat since I was 11 years old and I very well know when I am the cause of something and when they are.
Poor workmanship and quality issues, should not be my issue to deal with.

This just sucks. My gel cracks seem like nothing compared to what is going on with your boat. I know your pain though when trying to get the issue resolved. It looks as though it should be Boatmate that is responsible. It seems like a defect in their trailer that has damaged your boat. How does a Boatmate trailer get under the boat? I know my trailer is not a Boatmate. Does Tige choose the trailer that goes under the boat or does the dealer supply the trailer? If it is Tige you would think they could help you out by at least leaning on Boatmate to correct the problem or threaten to stop using their trailers. If it is the dealer you would think they could do the same. None of it sits right with me and after my experience your problems just solidify my decision to try my luck with another boat manufacturer next time. I guess in the end the only power we have is to try another manufacturer next time because we know how we get treated at this one.

I may just be lucky but I have owned 3 tige's and have always been pleased with everything. My trailer had to have shims put on it and a few recalls here and there but overall I have never been displeased with tige or my dealer. Sounds like in your case you should get rid of it and go to a different brand or dealer though.

Believe me, it was even longer when the boat was delivered.
Below is the list of things wrong with boat number 2 and the trailer:
General Boat:
1. Tower has major gash in paint from stereo install (confirmed by mechanic)
2. Boat needs at least 2 new ballast pumps as they keep blowing the breaker. (confirmed by mechanic)
3. Boat needs new shower line as it has permanent Kink which keep water from correctly flowing (confirmed by mechanic)
Vinyl:
1. Rear seat looks stained or as if there was an issue in the grey dye (confirmed by mechanic)
2. Passenger seat is already showing thread which means it was sewn to tight and will break open (confirmed by mechanic)
3. Dash has wrinkle in it that will not come out (confirmed by mechanic)
4. The cooler has a stain in it.
Fiberglass:
1. There are many issues with the convex vx. (One wasnt fixed and the others were caused by Tige's fiberglass people when they came to fix the original issues)
2. Front nose is beat up from bad front bumper... (you can see the front bumper on the trailer is tore up as well.)
3. Trailer tore up side of boat due to defect. (sent tony the thread showing multiple boats that had this happen last year.
Stereo:
1. The interior speakers have a lot of static at any volume over super low. (confirmed by mechanic)
2. The tower pops loudly whenever you hit wake or decent sized chop. (confirmed by mechanic)
3. Head unit has issue where tuner only gets one or two channels (confirmed by mechanic)
4. Head units pre-out hook up keeps falling out of stereo. (this is the wiring harness adapter add pre-outs to the stereo)
Trailer:
1. Galvanized trailer is rusting before even being used (Photos taken & shown to dealer before pick up)
2. Galvanization is flaking off in spots (Photos taken & shown to dealer before pick up)
3. Carpet on Bunks is already wearing (Photos taken & shown to dealer before pick up)
4. Wiring is falling down in places (Photos taken & shown to dealer before pick up)
5. Front bumper was defective from factory and caused front nose issues (Photos taken & shown to dealer before pick up)

I read through your list and have a couple of questions...who did the stereo install factory or dealer? were these issues found by the dealer prior to you taking delivery or are these all things that you personally found? did you water test the boat before you took delivery/paid? did the dealer perform a lake test prior to you coming too look at it?
1. All of the vinyl issues and the ballast pumps have been fixed.
2. they installed a completely new tower and reran new speaker wire to make sure the short wasn't in there.
*Factory did the install 1/2 at the factory and 1/2 at the dealer due to issues. (this is boat 2)
*The dealer did a lake test, but in the tech's defense, he doesn't wakeboard, so I doubt he was jamming the stereo or running all ballast pumps at once.
* All issues were written out at time of delivery before signing except for the stereo and fiberglass.
The stereo I noticed after putting it in the water and the fiberglass happened after delivery.
Don't really look for wrongly shot screws during delivery.
The dealer is having to rewire the entire stereo and it isn't their fault that the fiberglass thing was denied, its just more theirs that they didn't fight it.
I went up there over the weekend and found the issues in like 3 minutes. none of the screws were countersunk!
