The factory mounting tab started to bend because I was using new mounting tabs at the top of it along with spacers. I sent the plate to a friend of a friend to just simply weld up a new, taller tab with gussets for support. The guy got in a little over his head and for some reason used .5" stainless for it. It works and is definitely not going anywhere but the plate started to warp and had to be bent back in shape. It looks like hell.

Man I have been playing with our weighting and speed lately. I have the pro ballast and tend to run it front full so 800lbs, rear surf side full so 600lbs and the rear off side 25% full so 150lbs. Been adjusting the speed from 10-10.6 and the taps from 3-5. I would LOVE some suggestions on some different set ups to try. I have been trying to get the 360 down and I can get it all the way around but I can't ride it out. Not sure if changing some weighting up will help.

The best advise I could give would be to replace your rear bags and front. Get mikes custom bags for the lockers and then individual 400lbs bags for the bow. This will make a ton of difference.

Why board are you trying to spin on? Your missing alot of wave energy with them small bags for sure and at that slow of speed I dunno how the heck you guys ride that and do any tricks.. At that speed mine has enough push to move a 2,000lbs dood riding a buick

I have the 2 independent 400lb front bags so that isn't an issue. The only problem with the custom bags is the potential loss of storage space. The wife does not like losing storage space to sacs. So how much storage space would I potentially lose?

I have the LF Dom pro model, Ronix 1 Surfer, a Hyperlite Swell, and a Grind Water Shaka.

I am all for giving it a go behind your boat man or you can jump on mine sometime and help me play with the settings.

We can do both.. Ill be out there this weekend lets make it happen.. As for storage space you don't loose any when empty.. When full not much at all honestly.. When you jump on I can show you! And the difference is CRAZY.. With the added water weight and boat full of people in the right places the wave is retarded ive ridden with a full boat and water at speeds of 13.5 =)
