I assume the new brackets will be plug and play to the existing platform?

I wonder how long it is going to take to get the dealers up to speed and get the correct brackets manufactured. I am starting to think that our northern season will be over by the time this gets taken care of. I am starting to think about removing the VX and ride without it. Sounds as if that might be the best option for all of us VX owners. Any thoughts on this?"I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

The wake is fine without the VX on it. Been running without since June and the wake is great. The swim platform does not interfere at all.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

For you guys with the dealers so far away, I am very sorry for everything you will have to go through. I am frustrated with the dealer 1.5 hours away - can't imagine 7"I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

The wake without the VX is great, but I wouldn't give up on it, its really better with. And now that others are starting to get the right setup, they are confirming it only takes about 250-300 lbs of extra weight to achieve the same push/size as you did before the VX.
Chris Kinsey is testing with one for Wake the Desert, and they run in 8-10 feet of water which was a huge concern of mine. We have hit shallow water with the VX, and it didn't like it when we did the Delta shoot. But CK is dialing it in, and based on what he texted me last night, it is not coming off of his boat:

Curiously, the VX on our Z1 measures just under 4", which is correct as I understand it... Unless we messed up the measurement, but it seemed pretty straight forward.
We are running pro ballast, with extra bags equivelant to the custom bags, and an additional 400lbs of lead (this made a huge difference). The wave is great, we are loving the boat, but taps provides no adjustment to it - as mentioned somewhere in this thread.
