Taking a trip to Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho on the 18th. Have any of you boated there? Are there any hazards to look out for or places to make sure I see? I believe we are staying at Farragut on the South end of the lake.
go to wakeworld under the wakesurf section and look for username malibu (sue). sue and joe have spent a lot of time up in north idaho and can offer some assistance. I thought she told me she has been on that lake..

Check the weather conditions, especially wind conditions. That lake can produce some pretty good white caps and rough conditions. Ran into that yesterday morning up there. It was miserable.
duffymahoney lives in Sandpoint on the norther side of the lake, he should give you some advice, going for a weekend or a week? It should be better weather later in the summer. Less wind and more sun until October for the inland north west.

I believe we will be there for maybe 3 days. Supposed to be meeting some friends there from Kalispel. We figured it to be a good halfway point between there and Wenatchee.
Ill see if I can PM duffy to get some intel.
