So where is the fuse box on a 24ve & how do I open it?

On my 2007 24ve I assume the fuse box is the black box mounted on the wall NEXT to the bigger black box that has all of the circuit breaker buttons and the master on/off switches..... but in looking at what I suspect is the fuse box, I couldn't figure out how to open it.

    1. Is that the fuse box?
    2. How do you open it?

My gut says it will be an "easy open/duh" once someone tells me what I'm missing.

I suspect I have a blown fuse for my underwater transom light and possibly for my float switch on the bilge. The bilge runs when you turn it on from the switch.

The brown/red auto bilge wire is wired directly to the battery and is fused within about 6 inches of the battery.

I dont recall a separate fuse box under the helm, just the breaker box. I do know that some devises do have their own in-line fuse holders, but cant say about the transom light.

      ah-ha.

So dumb question #2; does that mean there is no fuse box? And only the breaker box with buttons that can be reset? I thought I read in my very small/short semi-worthless TIGE owners manual that there are different fuse sizes for different things..... Obviously my knowledge/understanding of electrical issues is drained.

I have a 24Ve as well and have constant issues with the bilge/blower breaker as well! In addition, my transom light hasn't worked since I bought it last year. Don't do too much wake sports with my girls at night, so I haven't troubleshot it at all.

I would check the bilge pump and blower for debris. This is a likely cause of a tripped breaker. The transom light could just be a bulb.
