34,500 and come down to barnes number, but in the current market environment... your not going to get top dollar due to the colors... bright and vibrant is in.

No offense but, that's the gayest thing I've heard all week. IMO, its worth more because of the colors it does have. There are tons of blue and red and yellow boats out there. Very few white and gray. This boat would first on my list to check because of it.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

dang, $34,500? You guys are crazy. 10 year old boat, no ballast, meh at best stereo. Does it have speed control? This was during Tige's, shall we say, "less attentive to fit and finish" days too, right?

          I'd think you'd be doing well at mid-high 20s.

No offense to your boat... I'm just thinking I'd take a sanger v215 or 05 malibu vlx over this boat every day of the week, and what would it take to get me to look at this one (price).

I agree, this boat is super low key and doesn't say "I'm a douche" with its graphics. Sweet ride.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

If I bought that I would remove the graphic to make it even more grey!

I love the color scheme. As for pricing I would agree with the mid to high 20's comment.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's crazy talk. While '04 wasn't Tige's best year, that boat will kick that Bu's *** any day of the week. If I owned it and was doing a side by side test with an '05 VLX, I'd send a limousine to go get that Bu to make sure it was there.

I can't comment on the performance of the Sanger. Never been in a 215 on the water. FWIW, I have a friend with a Bu that really wants a 215.

Well even though it was kinda gay to say " bright and vibrant" I tend to agree that if I'm buying a boat I want the color scheme to stand out. That's what I had in mind w my design on the z1. Everyone has their own opinions. Good luck w the sale and I think you could get at least 30 if your patient.

Yep, that boat would retail around here at $32-$35k. Dealers would probably ask upper $30's depending on how clean it is. Friend bought his '05 22v for ~$37k I think 2 years ago with what sounds like same options except perfect pass and a nicer Samson tower. Good luck.

A friend just sold an 05 vlx with fewer hours, nicer stereo, perfect pass, nicer tower (titan3), carpet insert, quad ballast, heater, shower, wedge, etc. for $35ish. The boat in question has no ballast, weaksauce stereo, and probably no speed control because it's not mentioned. It also has more hours.

I guess it depends why you are buying the boat. If all you want to do is surf, perhaps (after a ballast upgrade) this would be a better boat than the 'bu. But there's no way on earth that the OP's boat puts out a better, more scalable wakeboard wake than the last gen vlx hull. Want to tow newbs empty at 18 with a clean wake? No prob. Want to slam it to the gills for a giant wake? No prob. Prove me wrong, but AFAIK the OP's boat won't do that.
