What is the best prop for 2012 Z3

Unfortunately, I hit a submerged tree at Powell last week and am in the new market for a prop. My current prop is the ACME 537. It has seemed to do well.

    Here are my factors:

    Usually high altitude
    wakeboard
    wakesurf
    occassional waterski
    occassional cruising at Lake Powell.

    Any suggestions?

1235 is my vote. moki... I am just down the street from you! you will find a huge improvement in getting up to speed and hole shot for sure.. when weighted it night and day from that 537.

        The most expensive one.

Bummer Moki, ask for Jim Thelen over at ACME. I talked with him a lot about my last prop. He absolutely nailed it.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I have the 1235 and use it in all the conditions you are looking for. It has been a great upgrade.

1235 on my RZ2 was a huge upgrade from the 537. The boats should come with a 1235 in the first place, 537 is like trying to pull your boat with a smart car.

I have the Z3 with the 409 and stock prop. (not sure what prop)

I am in the middle of upgrading the ballast to a total of approx. 3300lbs would the 1235 help me out ? I am running at about 2500-4000ft elevation depending on what lake I head to.

there is not doubt with that altitude and weight.. it will be a huge improvement on the lower end. you will get to speed so much faster and cleaner. you will wonder why you did not change sooner.

Thanks guys for the great feedback! It is amazing what a difference the right prop will make. I had a 381 left over my 23OOv (that I almost took for a back up prop but didn't) that I put on for a trip to the lake tonight. The 381 felt completely gutless at the hole shot and did not give me any more top end. The 1235 sounds like the ticket! I will give Jim Thelen a call and tell him to send part of his commission over to all the thread contributors for some gas money
