Finally get a beautiful night, tried to take the family for a cruise until.......

I untarped the boat from the lift and found this. I have no idea how this happened. When I tarped it up 4 days ago it was fine. I thought maybe a stray bullet but no holes in the tarp? I am baffled. Anybody ever have to change a windshield before. Is it hard?

Oh, man! At least your boat is new enough that they will still probably have the replacement glass.

Man that sucks! Vandalism? Hail? I just had to replace the same piece of glass in my 11 RZ2 about 3 months ago (I broke mine though). I'm not going to lie, it's a PITA. The worst part is getting the old shattered glass out. I used clear packing tape to "laminate" the shattered window. I believe if i didn't do that i would still be cleaning up the glass pieces today.

On the bright side the glass only took about a week to get here from Canada! Good luck let me know if you need any help or pointers.

Window replacement isn't too tough, just get the right tools to remove the weatherstripping. But WOW that sucks!!!

Yah cleaning the glass really sucked. I am thinking a bird may have takin a dive into it or dropped something on it. Where I live it is very unlikley to be vandalized. I had 2 $800 surf boards in the bimini in clear view that were untouched. Oh well, worse things happen to better people!

That sucks! The glass is definately tought to get out. I had a center window shatter 3 seasons ago and we are still finding the glass.
If its not fun, Why do it?

LMAO. Good thing is the windshields are made in Canada for these things and I probably won't have to wait 2 months for one.
