    Z1 Stereo install/ Wake pics

I have been meaning to post these pics for a while but have been busy with work and going to the lake every chance i get. Here's a shoutout to fellow tige owner and one of my close friends Adevine87 as he is known on here. He spent roughly 50 hours in my guestimation putting this beast together. He does super clean work and it sounds amazing. For an added bonus he got to be the first one to ride behind this boat. It throws an amazing wake and can't be happier with how the boat turned out. I ordered the boat without a single ounce of stereo equipment, figured its pointless to order a " tower of power " from the factory when they have no idea what the hell that means and it probably costs 4 grand for a pair of speakers and a syn 2 amp. Thanks to whiteflash watersports for hooking me up with the board racks for cheap to!!

    Stereo:
    8 XS 650's
    4 Rev 10's
    1 XXX V2
    2 Sinister 6 amps
    1 Sinister 2 amp
    1 420 Sq

Rev 10's were custom painted from local body shop.

Here is a pic of the wake as requested at 22MPH with the taps at 4 and 2k Pro Ballast. Also threw in a pic of the surf wake around 10MPH. I surfed for the first time the other day and I most definitely still have work to do dialing that thing in.

Great lookin set up, I totally agree on ordering boat basic and upgrade to a better final product on your own. Did same exact thing on my 2011 z1. Did stereo dual batteries and switch, also just finished ballast upgrade.

I ordered boat with the ballast and dual batteries. But also added 3 more batteries for the stereo. It hasnt stopped playing on me yet and I gave it a 5 hour run yesterday.

Very nice! Do you have pictures of the sub enclosure?

I had that dual ported sub enclosure built that wetsounds reccomended. But it would not fit anywhere. So until we get time to build a custom box under passenger side for now I just have a single ported box under there. The sub still hits really hard but I think with the 1250 watts the sd2 is pushing to it it could be much louder. So until we have a whole day to give up for making the box it will just have to work

Very nice boat. I do have to say, that you could have saved money on the 4th set of 6.5's. Having 3 facing the same direction, within 4 feet of each other is a bit redundant especially for in-boat sound. It'll definitely be loud though. Many might disagree but, at the driver seat, malibu had a nice idea of putting speaker by the windshield so the driver could hear music from the front instead of hearing everything from behind.

Original plan was six. But the boat came with 2 up front when it wasn't supposed to. So I left them and put 6 in the rear

You dont need a dual-port enclosure. Do a single port based off the specs and the gross dimensions will be smaller then that dual-port box. And what ever you do, dont put the enclosure in the port side locker, please.

It's under the passenger side. There was no room for it under the helm. The sub seems to be breaking in and starting to hit harder the more I keep playing it. I may just end up leaving the box it's in.

That is set up i was looking at doing in my 2012 RZR but couldnt get the sinister amps here is Aus in time so went with 3 syn 4's and 1 syn 1.....banging set up....i think that you should be able to make the sub fit in the drivers side as i was able to make it work in the RZR and Z1 should have more room.

Im looking at getting a Z1 next but they havent hit australia yet....what boat did you come from and how does the wakeboard wake compare.....it looks pretty damn good in the pic just needs some cleaning up.
