I have a 2005 22V, I have an issue with the engine cover. Its seems to have warped and broke off the metal closing mechanism that is attached to the boat. I don't have a problem replacing it but don't know what type of material to use. I don't want to use wood due to the way it absorbs water. Has anyone replaced this or have any suggestions ?
