Looking for Alpha Z Tower Base - 2009 Z1 (Anyone have a port side in good condition?)

The tower base on my 09 Z1 broke. Anyone have (or seen) a black base for the port side? Salvaged boat? Bought an extra one?

Tige is saying 4-6 weeks to get it made and I cant give up half of my summer waiting for the damn wakeboard tower!

I know its a long shot, but its still a shot!

It's aluminum right? I would get it patch welded until new one gets here if that's possible.

Like that idea. I am going to call some welders tomorrow to see what they can do.

Any long term damage that I could do? I would get it fixed properly this winter.

Update - Got it welded. Everything was going well, then the wire holding the springs snapped. LAME!

Going to surf off the tower and wait till the base comes in to pull hardcore wakeboarders off it. The saga continues!

Just so everyone knows, welding cast aluminum is different than steel but very doable. Cost me $200 to have someone come to my dock and do it. Pretty reasonable imo.

well im glad you got it welded bro. I knew you could weld cast alumminum. But knew it wasnt the easiest thing. I hope you enjoy the rest of summer.

And it's because tige shipped it with the incorrect tower bolts and when installed the error obviously wasn't noticed
