    2008 22Ve Alternator V-Belt size/part number cross referrence

The 22VE just spit the two v- belts off the alternator today.

The only visible ID markings/numbers are:

    Made in USA D196Y07 8057 029 2124 E10
    &
    260515

Does anyone know the specifications of these two belts and possibly the part number I can use to cross referrence for my local auto parts store?

They are both broken so having them sized will present some challenges.

I searched the forums and have found several threads inquiring but no-one seems to have listed the part numbers.

Surprising no-one has access to this information, regardless the auto cross reference for these is:

    Drive-Rite
    Automotive V-Belt
    45515 - $4.99ea.
    Advance Auto Parts

Hope this helps someone out in the future.

Replacement is not a straightforward swap.
All water pump lines need to be removed from the fresh water pump.
Also retaining bracket that's affixed to the bottom of the FWP and to the block will also need to be removed.
To facilitate routing of new belts.

    Tools needed:
    3/8" drive ratchet
    6" 3/8 drive extension
9/16" socket - FWP Bracket bolts & top bolt on Alternator
1/2" socket - lower bolt on alternator
5/16 socket or screwdriver - all hoses clamps on FWP

    Swap takes about 30 - 45 minutes

Drive-Rite vs. Gates & belt widths?

Thank you for the information. I have a 2005 22v with the 340 also and the old replacement belts are Gates 7448 listed at .410" wide x 45.33" long. The Drive-Rite you list is listed as .38" wide and 45-1/2" long. When I look how my pair of v-belts fit in the pulleys the belt seems too narrow as it sits all the way in from the edge of the pulleys. And the Drive-Rite listed above is even more thin. How can I find out the specifications (or even part number) of the original recommended belt? Thank you.
