Wow that looks nice. I'd think for wakeboarding or surfing having a lake that short might be a little annoying. But for skiing its heaven!

Thanks for posting TeamAllen..... we can dream! I think those of us in Southern California (with only puddles close by) dream about private lakes more than most!

You've got that right! Can you just imagine waking up to that in the morning? Then having it the rest of the day too?
I think I wouldn't be able to hang on the rope handle that long.

Looks pretty amazing. Frankly, if it's all that it's advertised to be, the price doesn't seem outrageous.

I'm fairly sure the lake will be too shallow to generate a good surf wake. And, without an island down the middle, you'll have issues with crossing your own wake, right?

That said, it'd be very cool to have it all to yourself. A few years ago, we rented a place on a private lake out here near Barstow, and even with only 2 or 3 other homes on the lake occupied at the same time, there were some issues with "sharing" the lake.

Also, while smooth water all day is great, there's something to be said for the freedom and openness of a big lake. A week or two after we left the Barstow lake, we were at Havasu, and I just remember thinking I wouldn't want to be on the tiny "track" all the time. However, sometimes when the wind chop picks up in the afternoon, my mind wanders back to Barstow.
