Tige Touch has a 5 Year Warranty so they are pretty confident with it. Also Touch Screens have been in the Center Console Industry and Yachts for well past 10 years now. Also if you touch it with your finger print it works perfectly every time.

I have about every product apples makes and love their touchscreen. The tige touch is no iPhone, ipad, etc. I have to touch the tige touch just right otherwise the screen does nothing. Not to mention I question how well one of these screens would work when the boat is 10 years old. While my phone gets replaced every 2 years I still have my first tige (2006 with 570 hours) that has never had a problem. I've seen several new tiges break down straight from the factory. I like the fact that Mastercraft would let you build a boat without the touch screen in it for 2012 and I think for 2013 as well, not sure on the '14s.

Mastercraft uses the same screens that Tige does. Both made by medallion.

Depends on the year model, MC is now using a Murphy unit, same as CC. Screen with buttons, not touch.

2012s were medallion, 13s are made with Murphy. MC had to many problems with using medallion, that is the reason they switched.....this is all according to my local dealers telling me.

I do not know the true reason they switched, but both MC and CC have had some issues with the Murphy system as well.

ok does anyone have any information on why the 2014 boats all have 1 extra thru hull on each corner of the boat vs the 2013 boats? It would be awesome if they ran double fill and drain pumps on the 14 boats to minimize fill/drain time.
