I just got back from a Deployment and took the boat out yesterday for the first time this year! It was great and we were rocking with my addition of two new pro80's! The installation was pretty basic and I moved them to the outside and move the existing pro60's to the center mounts. Originally I thought I would require the drop down spacer you see on all the Alpha Z tower speakers but I didn't, the speakers just mount nice and snug. They look great and holy cow the sound! My tower had preexisting wiring so I simply wired them up and it seems my Sync 2 powers all four nicely! Next time out I’ll have the Fresh Air Exhaust installed!
Now obviously not everything went as well as I had hoped however, this seems typical for a first of the outing of the season.
I've got a small list of issues I need to address/fix:
My cranking battery died over the winter. I left all cables connected however I imagine It must have had a constant draw running it down? Next year I suppose I'll simply remove both batteries. Thoughts?
Next I'm taking on water! I originally thought this was due to a faulty connection to the bottom of my Enzo surf sac or loosing ballast fitting to the hard tanks but, yesterday I had water in the bilge after 30min with no ballast filling. I'm wondering if the culprit is the prop shaft seal? How can I trouble shoot this, wonder if I can change this myself![Frown](https://www.tigeowners.com/core/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Tower lights turn themselves on! After I washed the interior yesterday before boating something may have got wet and all day yesterday the tower lights just stayed on by themselves! Just the top two tower lights. I could shut them off in the Tige touch light menu however, 5 sec later they would turn on again. I couldn't find a fuse for just the tower lights. However, flipping the breaker next the fuse box under the dash would also extinguish the tower lights. Not sure where to begin wire chasing.
I hope to find and fix these problems before the week long trip out at Lake Powell end of this Month!
