    RZ4 - Tow with cover?

I am taking my 2007 RZ4 on a road trip (approx 4 hour drive). Should I tow it with the cover or not? Not sure how cover will perform at higher speeds.

I was told NEVER to two the boat with the cover unless you have a special cover designed for it
Tige, it's a way of life!

I towed both ways, with cover you will get lower mpg, but protects the boat from uv-rays, dust & debris.

I usually don't but when we took the new RZR to the lake it started to rain so we stopped and got gas and threw the cover on to keep the road slime out. I was very impressed with the Tige factory cover. At 70 mph it didn't flap at all. I was very surprised. That was just with the ratchet strap tight and not the optional straps on. I don't know that I will be towing with it all the time, but nice to know when i need to it doesn't bag up and flap all over the place.

I always tow with cover on. As a matter of fact towed 3000 miles round trip for vacation 2 years ago and just towed 1500 miles while moving and no problems. However. I did have a problem 1/4 way through 3000 mile tow with Bimini, it was folded and stowed in cover on tower but some screws worked themselves loose. Now I remove Bimini from tower and put under cover for long trips.

If your cover has those plastic rear-facing scoops, it is intended to be a driving cover. Those scoops develop a vacuum that helps keep the cover on and sucked tight to the boat. My Tige factory cover has two of the scoops.
