Hi guys. Been off for awhile since I have maxed out what I can do to our Tige, but experienced a strange issue last weekend. While surfing with the Perfect pass set at 11.2 mph, the boat began having problems maintaining that speed. The Perfect pass display began indicating "more throttle", but when we applied more throttle, nothing changed-even after we buried the throttle. We called it a day and went back to the dock with the PP off and the boat seemed to run fine.
I believe it happened earlier in the day when we were boarding also, but I thought we were able to increase the throttle so the PP was satisfied.
Out Tige has about 650 hours on it, and to date all we have done is change the oil and filter annually, change the impeller annually, and we did upgrade the Perfect Pass to the newer display last year since the factory display was no longer available and the factory one went out. Prior to this-no issues.
Any comments or thoughts would be helpful. I do have a 2005 24V with the 380hp 6.0 engine. All temps and pressures are good.
