I looked for the previous thread but could not locate. I am thinking of cutting my teak platform for less drag and know someone on here did the same. Let me know if you remember. Thanks

Great pics of duffys mod there. Also, I think if you cut down your platform and have an fae, you will want to add Duffy's Flap (horse stall rubber flap to reduce spray). In my opinion, Duffy and Topaz surfer both have the cut platform and flap and it looks like a killer combo. I have wondered if Duffy's flap inspired the early prototype/ concept convex vx.

I have not done this mod yet but after duffys pics in the surfgate thread. It's very tempting.
