    Perfect Pass Install

My group buy Perfect Pass is going in this afternoon. Which speedo has everyone been replacing? My left one has my depth which I like but my right one has my engine hours. Just looking for some ideas.

Your 06V has twin speedo's? If im not mistaken, an 06V has the Faria gauge setup with a single speedo and tach, with each having some LCD display. IMO, I would leave both and mount the PP head down on the dash just to the right of the steering wheel.

My bad. At 5:30 my mind was not typing correctly. There is one speedo and one tach. I do like your idea of that location and keeping both current gauges. Thanks

X2 on Chpthrill suggestion, I just mounted mine in that location. My stereo remote are right beside each other. I replaced the piece of plastic that was in that spot with a custom aluminum piece that was powder coated. The plastic looked cheap with so much cut out of it for the two gauges.

My PP will show both speed and rpm readings, I have an old single line display. I don't have a paddle wheel in my boat, so mine only shows rpms. The newer display has a large digital speed readings, and just below it a smaller readings of the rpms. I believe there is also a setting for engine hours, but I don't use it, so I can't help you there.

I like having the PP on the right side of the dash as I always have my left hand on the wheel, so if someone wants a change in speed I can easily take my hand off the throttle and adjust on the fly.
If you don't have the ability to keep all the gauges I would try to keep the Tach (an hopefully that has the depth gauge reading on it).

Looks awesome. My stereo remote is on the far left gauge panel. What do you have in that spot?

Here is how it was from the factory on my 05. I think it is perfect this way.
