Lake Ray Hubbard ????

I'm heading up to the Forney, Texas area this weekend, and was wonder if any of you have any input on Lake Ray Hubbard? Do's or Don'ts. I have drove over the bridge many times, but unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year to take a dip. Is there any good places to surf? Shallow spots I need to be aware of ect...

I havent been there in a few years but near the 66 bridge is a good place to wakeboard. I have never surfed on there so Im not sure where to ride. Lake is a few feet low, not too bad. Water temp is probably going to be in the mid to high 60s.
