    Glove box blow out...

I have a '98 2200v, just bought it and the glove box is blown out the bottom. Can you buy replacements or do you just make one?

If the hinges broke off the cover, mine did the same thing. I just used a two part epoxy and fixed it. I also loosened the hinges so its opens a little easier. Ill my epoxy is on the inside of the cover so you cant see it unless its open.

If its the bottom of the glove box its fiberglass and part of the hull. You will have to just repare it or cut it out and find some sort of drop in. Id try to repare it.

it looks like it is plastic, but I will take it out and see about rebuilding it.

Thats interesting. Typically they were one pice with the hull and just the lid was plastic. But the 2200V is a rare one so maybe it was made just a little different. Post some pics once you get it out.

I will get a picture of it tomorrow, it is a really thin plastic. Pretty surprising that was used.

fiberglass pretty much fixed it, just took out the box and working for the bottom I just used the fiberglass and cloth to make the bottom solid again and it id a great job making the radio hole alot stronger.
