2000 20CI, Missouri Ozarks. One speedo works the other part time. I think there is crud in the line. How do I clean the lines? There is a little brass pin at the bottom of the pick up tube. I have removed and cleaned that out. I think the crud is further up the line. Any ideas? M&M

Stick a 3/32 drill bit in an old cork and use it to clean out the tiny hole on the pito tube. That's the thing that hangs off the back of the boat. There is a tiny hole that faces forward at the very end of the pito tube. Once the drill bit is mounted in the cork, stick it in the tiny hole and spin it clockwise a few times and pull it out. This should clear any debris from it. Throw the cork and bit in your live box and always keep it in the boat. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

2000 20CI. Thanks Master Jedi. I will try to remove the hose on the speedo. Its a big mess behind the dash, but I hope that fixes the problem. I installed my new 120psi compressor under the bow last week for my new air horn and it came with a 25' air hose attachment to blow out the speedo, fill towables and blow the chip crumbs out of the tufting in the upholstery.
