I love this boat and even with shipping I think it's a good deal but not sure I'm willing to take the gamble. Anyone near Arlington???

I think I'm getting a pretty smoking deal, it's the shipping to Utah that is going to gouge. Any experience with affordable shippers?

That is an extremely rare dash pod for a Ve. I'd buy that Ve just for that. Well, not really but, it sure is nice that the other 99% of the Ve/RZ dashes of the period.
Can the cruise be replaced either by a PerfectPass or a newer version of the Tige cruise?
Other than that, it looks fantastic. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

The dash looks identical to my buddy's 2006 dash. Not sure what is rare about it.
It is very similar to the 2005 dash on my old boat.Be excellent to one another.

Signed, sealed, and delivered on Monday! Boat inspection said it was in pristine condition and gave it 9.5 out of 10 on just about everything. Compression came back at nearly full compression in all cylinders.
Tall, you've got me a little worried about the accuset, should I try and buy a new touch pad now? Where should I start looking and they are around 500?

Congrats! Sounds like you have a new boat!
Might be worth checking with CPROPES2005 it looks like he had some creative way to get perfect pass to work. It sounds like he figures out some way to dupe the throttle position sensor but it also sounded like he thought it wouldn't work for every engine.
Quote from thread linked below:
cpropes2005
If you have a mechanical throttle linkage then perfectpass will work and is probably the best option. From others who have posted here as we'll as info I got from perfect pass says that all Marine Power engines prior to 06 should have mechanical throttle linkages and should work. In 06 Marine Power switched to throttle by wire where there is a throttle position sensor at sends an electronic signal to the engine and these are the motors that do not work with perfectpass. In throttle by wire versions of perfectpass there is no servo motor to physically adjust the throttle. It is all done with electronics so it just plugs in. What perfectpass told me is that while this approach works with most other throttle by wire motors they just could never get the bugs out of the electronic interface with the marine power engines.
As mentioned above my situation is unique because my boat is an 03 but the engine was replaced around 2010 so I actually have a drive by wire system even though my boat is an 03. I was able to come up with a hybrid system where I used the mechanical version of perfectpass to physically move my throttle position sensor but I don't think that would work for most people.
