Fresh Air Exhaust Group Buy discount

    Hey Everyone,

I've been talking to the great people over at Fresh Air Exhaust and they are willing to provide Tige Owners with a group buy discount, provided at least 2 others join me and order this week (all orders must be placed by May 5th). Based on other members of the TO board, FAE is as close to a necessity as it gets.

Soooo, did you miss the last group buy? Have you been on the fence about getting a FAE? Now’s the time to do it!

Fresh Air Exhaust is offering a group buy from now till May 5, 2013.
We need at least 3 people to receive a discount of $50.00 off the normal price.

FAE reduces carbon monoxide by at least 90%.
FAE reduces your engine’s noise, improving your boating experience with a quieter ride and improved stereo.
No change in boat handling, performance, or wake.
    Over 1300 FAE installed

Order can be placed by email (mail@boatpipes.com) or phone (512.647.7321). Be sure to reference the Tige Group Buy to receive your $50 discount.

Fill in the blanks to get your personal price, then subtract $50.00

Let me (or better yet FAE) know if you have any additional questions.

I certainly wouldn't own a boat without an FAE.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I'm in! Do you think you need the flapper and the quick release from the swim platform?

I like having the quick release. I don't use it that often anymore but it sure was handy when I had to pull the platform off everytime I put the boat away.

Whats the flapper? I have the quick release but take my platform off every time I am done so I can put the boat in the garage.

                  Not sure about the flapper.

                  Timmy! It's time, bud.

The flapper is an option that you can get. It's a flap so you don't get water back up the FAE. I take it that hardly anyone has the flapper.

Glad to see the group buy is going to work out and save us all a few bucks......which will inevitably be spent somewhere else on the boat.

From what I can tell, the flappers are not completely necessary, but addresses a warranty issue for new boats. For those of you with boats under warranty, I'd suggest emailing FAE about it. They have been ridiculously responsive to my emails. And from what I can tell, that is pretty normal for them.

                          Pulled the trigger.
Thanks Pow-wake for setting this up.

                            PQR/Side Mount Information

Good evening y'all. This is Christina with Fresh Air Exhaust. I am posting this information as I have received a lot of questions and there seems to be some confusion regarding the Side Mount and Platform Quick Release. The Platform Quick Release (PQR) allows you to readily remove your swim platform. The PQR has 2 quick release pins to quickly disconnect the swim platform from the FAE. If you remove your swim platform frequently you definitely need the PQR. Even if you only remove your swim platform once a year you would benefit from the PQR because the long all-thread bolt used to mount the FAE to the swim platform can be difficult (impossible) to remove once installed. A PQR for your boat is $40.

The Side Mount is a mounting method/option for many types of fiberglass swim platforms (sorry no teak platforms). The Side Mount is not a kind of disconnect, just a mounting method. The Side Mount mounts to the metal platform bracket so that you don’t have to physically remove the fiberglass swim platform. With the standard installation you have to remove the screws and platform. With the side mount, the platform does not have to be removed. The Side Mount is only $20 and a huge time saver.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion and answers questions. I am always happy to provide more information if needed. The Group Buy runs through Sunday. We will be available by phone and email throughout the weekend. If you are interested in getting the discount, as long as you email by end of day Sunday, I will honor the $50 discount. If you call, please leave a message and we will respond on Monday. Please note that this will be our last group buy of the season.

                            We sincerely appreciate your business.
