    Paint Protection Film?

Has anyone here used the 3M paint protection film on their boat to avoid scratches? It is the same clear film that a lot of vehicles use for clear bras. I am thinking about having it installed on the back of my 2007 24ve. I had some material installed on the front of my N-Line motorcycle trailer and you can't even tell it's on there. If anyone has used the film, how has it held up and how does it look?DSCN0385.JPGI know everyone likes pictures, so I thought I would share this one.

I did on my 06 22Ve along the transom. It was nearly invisible once installed.

2nd Chp's comment. IMHO it's a must on the transom and if it were my boat I'd put it on the gunnel just forward of the transom lockers to just rear of the tower where people tend to step.

I have it on the transom of my boat above the step so boards don't scratch the back. I tried it on the front / bottom to see if it worked to avoid scratches when beaching the boat and that didn't work at all, the stuff blew off while under way. Keep it above the waterline and it works great.

Another option that I wanted to do is SeaDek. When I get around to replacing the deck and adding to the activity center and walk through I wanted to get some to put along the back, maybe even with the Tige logo in it.
